The 5th edition of St. Patrick's Festival Amsterdam took place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March at Splendor and the Uilenburger Sjoel in the heart of Amsterdam . Our Festival that welcomed Irish, Dutch and international people based in Amsterdam and beyond, both young and old to come and celebrate, take part in and enjoy Irish arts and Dutch-Irish collaboration in a cultural setting. We were delighted to host John Banville, Eleanor McEvoy, Sara Baume, Cartoon Saloon's Rory Conway, David Munnelly, Four of a Kind, The Redmond School of Irish Dancing, Iris Oltheten, Gwendolyn Masin, John van Iersel, Emmy Storms, Martin Moriarty, Robert Kulek, Frederik van Dam, Mike del Ferro, Mark Haanstra, Josahua Samson in 2018. We feel very lucky to have an amazing production team, fabulous volunteers, top staff at Splendor & De Uileburger Sjoel and great sponsors and supporters for the 2018 Festival. Thank you all!

Music Generation in Ireland. A fantastic organisation who are working to ensure that all children in Ireland, regardless of background, have access to quality music education. St. Patrick's Festival Amsterdam wants to help support the next generation of Irish musicians to perform in Amsterdam, Ireland and around the globe in the years to come.
St. Patrick's Festival Amsterdam is an annual festival celebrating Irish Arts & Culture, with a special focus on music. Held in the heart of the Dutch capital in The Netherlands, it is the only celebration of the richness of Irish arts & culture in Amsterdam. The festival celebrates not only Irish traditional music, but also Irish music and musicians from other genres such as classical, pop, jazz and world, collaborating to present unique programs with Irish music as the inspiration. Spoken word, cuisine, dance, film and animation have also been featured in the programme for this Festival which first took place in 2014. Read more.
